When people hurt us, disrespect us, or take advantage of us we feel hurt even angry, and want to get back at the person or want to know why. We only have control over one thing and that is our ability to forgive, it ain't easy and it ain't fun but it is necessary to grow and move forward. Forgiveness isn't a relinquishment of blame but an exercise of understanding of letting go. So when you can practice forgiveness, it will give you the freedom you deserve.
